BIOGRAPHY
I challenge myself to look straight into life's eyes. Thus, I best see the truth of our lives: our common fears and longings, and the strife and respite of the day-to-day.

I am attracted to faces undisguised for the eye of the beholder, still life scenes that could shift or wither at any moment, landscapes that answer the traveler's need to set sail.

My firm belief is that art makes life collectively graspable and that portraiture has a lasting power of its own. This belief has been supported by the following selected distinctions: the Fine Arts First Year Achievement Award, the Fine Arts Second Year Achievement Award, Concordia University Entrance Scholarship for the Fine Arts, the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant, the Colart Collection, and a pool of discerning private collectors in Canada, the United States and France.
